Parenthood is a life-changing journey filled with ups and downs. It’s a mix of beautiful and ugly moments, fulfilling and isolating experiences, and both terrifying and exciting times. At The Happenings of Parenthood, we aim to share our personal experiences and offer helpful insights, recommendations, and fun, affordable DIY project ideas.

Megan, Edgar, Melianna, Xander, and our supporters makes up our team. Megan is an oncology nurse (as of 2012), wife (as of 2016), and mother (as of 2018). Edgar is an engineer (as of 2007), husband (as of 2016), and father (as of 2018). As parents, we want nothing but the best for our children – Melianna and Xander. We’re constantly learning from our mistakes and sharing our successes with others.

Undeniably, our free time revolves around DIY projects and creative outlets. Our goal is to inspire others with our ideas, which are sparked by our biggest inspirations, Melianna and Xander. Without them, our ideas would not exist (at least not from us). Edgar shares his DIY concepts on his YouTube channel, Super Simple DIY, while Megan sells her Coloring Cookbook Collection for children on Amazon.
