How Can You Make Oobleck?
Making oobleck is easy with just two ingredients. It is a 2:1 ratio of cornstarch to water. In other words, mix two cups of cornstarch with one cup of water. You may need to adjust the ratio slightly, but this is a great starting point. Mix the ingredients until thoroughly blended, and voilà! You have an intriguing concoction that your kiddo won’t put down.
How Do You Play With Oobleck?
Playing with oobleck provides a variety of fun experiences. For starters, you can add food coloring to make it visually appealing and add an extra dose of excitement to the playtime. Make it multi-color themed (like rainbow, mermaid, holiday, etc.) for the ultimate messy, vibrant Instagram moment. To make the process smoother and avoid any streaks, I suggest adding the food coloring to the water before mixing it with the cornstarch.
