Why We [Adults] Need to Color More
Undoubtedly, adult coloring books have become increasingly popular over the past decade or two. It’s no secret that coloring has numerous benefits. Basically, all you need to do is a simple Google search for “benefits of coloring” to find tons of articles listing these benefits. Research suggests coloring can help reduce anxiety, decrease stress, boost positive moods, increase creativity, improve mindfulness, and decrease screen time.
That said, coloring is not the sole treatment for any mental health diagnosis; however, research suggests it could complement traditional therapy. Not to mention, it’s also a convenient stress relief activity.
A Little About My Plan
I first dipped my toes in children’s coloring books a few years ago, which were coloring cookbooks. My daughter was my biggest inspiration for creating those books. After making a few different versions, I decided to try adult-themed coloring books, and now I can’t stop.
My ultimate goal is to continue creating more while also providing you with various free adult coloring pages from my books. I have found so many benefits in this journey. I enjoy making them, and others enjoy coloring them. Everyone needs a hobby, and humor certainly helps, too!
With Edgar’s help, I also plan to create Latin-American Spanish versions. I currently have Momma’s Coloring Book and Nurse Coloring Book available in Latin-American Spanish. They take a little longer since I need Edgar’s help translating. I prefer to avoid making them sound like AI-generated content, even if it takes a little longer.
